To whom it may concern:

I contracted with Foothills Refinishing to refinish my cedar fence, which has not been touched for eight years.

Day one—pressure washed. Looked great. Weathered pickets looked like new.

Day two—red cedar semi-transparent stain was applied with Boodge brand stain. The results were stunning. Many neighbors commented on how good it looked.

Grant did a great job. He left the job site just the way he found it. His attention to detail was duly noted.

I would highly recommend him for the job-well-done.

I would like to let you know what a fantastic job Grant did for us staining our fence! He was so professional and helpful! He was able to show us several types of stain, even brought a board out with different stains so we could see exactly how the stain would look on our fence! He gave us a quote and honored it!

He was very prompt, honest and dependable! When he said he was going to be here he was! That is so rare to find these days! He also took into consideration what we were doing and how the smell of the stain would impact outside activities. He watched the weather and was careful to plan putting the stain on when the weather wouldn't affect it!

We receive compliments on our fence all the time! Everybody that walks by tells us how beautiful it is!

I have a 25+ year old back deck that was in good shape but needed new life so I called Grant at Foothills Refinishing. Two years before he had worked magic on my front porch, now I wanted to see if he could do the same for the deck. Over the years, I had stained it several times. The last stain turned out to be more paint than stain and had peeled off of about 3/4 of the surface. Grant came in and power washed, used stripper, paint stripper, and finally sanded. When he was done, it looked like a brand new deck!!! With the fresh finish and new stain, you would never guess it was an old deck! Thank you, Grant, for making the old new again!!!!

Thanks for making our 27 year old redwood deck look beautiful again! Grant did so much more than other companies we got estimates from and at a better price. We highly recommend him.

I don't leave too many reviews but I had a really good experience with Foothills Deck refinishing; contracted to powerwash, sand, and stain my sun and winter blasted deck. Grant was very easy to work with, honest and cared about the final look of the project. He provided a fair price and coupled that with high quality work. For the job he worked with me to get the stain I wanted, was prompt, and got right to it until the job was finished. Highly recommend to anyone looking for similar services. Will use again when the time calls.

My house came with a fence that needed to be stained just on one side—the outside is unique and had a few years left in it. Grant was able to do just the inside and it looks amazing! There was a piece that was so weathered we actually thought a pressure washer might blow it over but it turned out to be sturdy enough and now it looks brand new. He uses an oil instead of stain which seemed like a good idea for the Colorado sun. He also stained a section of new fence and took the time to sand it beforehand. His prices were in line with quotes I got from other vendors, he showed up on time every time he said he would (notable in FtC), and they paid a lot of attention to clean up in addition to making the fence look amazing. I had no idea how happy a beautiful fence would make me.

I had a painter "paint" my back deck and it turned out terrible. I called in the deck refinishing experts and Grant was great to work with. He stripped the paint off and recommended the Boodge oil. I'm very happy with everything.
